Dr. Rachna Kumari Prasad is Assistant Professor in Mata Sundri College, Delhi University in the Department of Political Science. She has done her Ph.D from Delhi University, Department of Political Science on the topic Forest Land Rights of the Tribals in Jharkhand. She has cleared UGC-JRF. Her area of specialization is Human Rights, Development, Social Movements, Multiculturalism and Environment. She has more than ten years of teaching experience in different colleges of Delhi University. She has taught various papers in Honours and Programme courses. Her publications include Dalit and Tribal Rights (2013), and ‘Right to Forest Land: Who Benefits?’ (Mainstream, 2013). She has also presented papers on many National Seminars and Symposium and has also published research papers in Peer Reviewed Journals. Her recent published work is on Implementation of SC/ST Atrocities Act, 1989, published in edited book ‘Human Rights and Responsibility’.
