Applied Zoology has been included in the national syllabus of U.G.C. as a compulsory course. This subject is taught in one form or another throughout the Indian Universities. The applied field is very vast and it is hard to cover up all aspects of each field. The information on these applied aspects are scattered in books, research papers, reports and pamphlets. Therefore, we decided to write a book on this important subject. Understanding the need for a pragmatic approach to the traditional branches of biological science, the book takes a look at the principles, practices and concepts of zoology, and how they can be moulded within the framework of practical application. Applied Zoology is written for Master of Zoology, Semester – III as per NEP-2020 syllabus. The book is written in conversational, lucid and simple language. Every effort has been made to provide the readers with most up-to-date and authentic material on the subject. This book offers students an understanding of experiential learning on the different aspects of Applied Zoology.
